Requirements to be a member:
3.5 Math GPA
Currently enrolled in an honors, AP, or Cambridge math course
Grades 9-12

Goals or purpose of this club:
Mu Alpha Theta is the National High School and Two-Year College Mathematics Honor Society with over 88,000 student members by June each school year in more than 1,800 schools. We are dedicated to inspiring keen interest in mathematics, developing strong scholarship in the subject, and promoting the enjoyment of mathematics in high school and two-year college students.

Activities Planned:
Tutoring struggling math students at TSHS.
At least 2 Math competitions against other schools.
Practices in specific disciplines (Calculus, Statistics, Pre-Calculus, Algebra 2, Geometry)
Math and Science activity (either a field trip or a field day) at the end of the school year.

Dues:
$20 (Unless a first year Mu Alpha Theta Senior… then $35)
Participate in a fundraiser
