2014 Business Partner of the year, Friendly KIA

2013-14 Business Partner of the Year

Mr. John Gilliss with Friendly KIA continually offers vast support to Tarpon Springs High School.  His 2013-14 contributions include sponsoring our school’s Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast, Teacher Appreciation Luncheon, Great American Teach-In, and donating to the Jacobson Culinary Arts Academy, and the Leadership Conservatory for the Arts.   Most recently, Mr. Gilliss with Friendly KIA became the major sponsor of the Tarpon Springs High School’s Athletic Hall of Fame, which will take place in September 2014!  He has bestowed countless hours of planning, staff manpower, business gifts, and monies to Tarpon Springs High School, and continually contributes to Pinellas County Schools throughout the District.

Tarpon Springs High School, its students, teachers, and staff, along with our entire community have all immensely benefited from Mr. Gilliss’ and Friendly KIA’s generosity for over 13 years.  At the conclusion of each sponsored event, if any unused monies remain, Mr. Gilliss always elects to roll the funds into another event and/or sponsorship.  Whatever the need, Mr. Gilliss with Friendly KIA has been there, to support Tarpon Springs High School.  It is for these reasons that we proudly name Mr. John Gilliss with Friendly KIA as Tarpon Springs High School’s 2013-2014 Business Partner of the Year.
